Nestled in the scenic beauty of Maine, our yarns begin their journey as the coats of family-owned sheep. Once harvested, the wool is transported just a few miles down the road for spinning, where it is transformed into soft, workable strands.

Following this, we hand-dye the yarn in Lawrence, Kansas, using our natural plant dyes, infusing each strand with vibrant colors.

Once the dyeing process is complete, the finished yarn is meticulously stored and packaged into skeins, awaiting their new life as essential components of your weavingprojects or as the material for your hand-knit mittens. Each skein is more than just a product; it embodies a narrative of quality, artistry, and a profound connection to the land and the dedication of the people who lovingly craft it and those who will craft with it.
